Sunday Tea
On the first Sunday of every month, the House of Sufism in Boston holds an afternoon tea so that visitors and newcomers can learn more about Sufism in a relaxed, comfortable setting. These teas last from 4:30 to 5:30 pm and are free and open to the public.
Meditation
The House of Sufism holds contemplation meetings on every Thursday and Sunday. Please call us at 617.536.0076 for more information.
Rosie’s Place
Rosie’s Place, “a sanctuary for poor and homeless women,” has served Boston’s women and children since 1974. In keeping with the Nimatullahi Sufi Order’s commitment to service, the Boston House of Sufism has partnered with Rosie’s Place to support their charity mission. The third Monday of each month, dervishes from the Boston House of Sufism volunteer to serve dinner at Rosie’s, or to help in other ways. In addition, from time to time they bring and cook the food before serving it. We invite you to join us in this work.
This month, we'll be catering a meal on March 15 starting at 3:30 pm and we'll be serving a meal on March 21 at 5:00 pm.
